History
The E3 Group was founded in 1962 by forwarding agent A.C. Jørgensen as a family business specialising in freight forwarding and transportation. At the beginning, it was a small office in Kruså that handled transport documents.
A.C. Jørgensen soon experienced a demand not only for documentation but also for the corresponding transport, and in 1976 the company moved to Padborg, where its head office continues to be located.
Good customer service and a focus on operational reliability and honesty account for the company’s growth. Today, the E3 Group has 450 employees, and our core area remains transportation and good service. We are on the road every single day in our characteristic green vehicles.
Where do the name and the colour come from?
We are, of course, environmentally aware and protect the environment as best we can. However, this is not the reason for the green colour. The colour and the name go together, because the green colour stems from the signs along the E45 motorway.
The motorway from Hamburg to Frederikshavn was previously called the E3, hence the name. In 2006, the E3 changed name to E45, and at the same time the motorway was extended from Gothenburg up through Sweden, all the way to Karesuando on the Finnish border.
We have kept our name and the green colour, and we still travel on the same roads and many more. Now we transport goods throughout Europe, where we collect and deliver goods on a daily basis.
